About ARB Group

ARB Group is owned and managed by Andrew Bennett whose family has been involved in the construction industry for four generations.

Andrew’s great-grandfather was a master stonemason who progressed to building houses, he was later joined by his three sons who each went on to run their own successful businesses. Andrew’s father obtained an engineering degree and with his mother started their own building company which won the prestigious NHBC top 100 award. During his teens and time at university Andrew would help at the various sites and was often left in charge when his parents were on holiday, it was during this time that his interest in property developed.

Andrew’s journey into property construction, renovation and maintenance was not as traditional. He qualified as a veterinary surgeon and in 1991 opened his own practice which over 25 years developed into 36 surgeries across the South, East and East Midlands. Since opening his first surgery Andrew has run a small team of builders specialising in medical builds and property refurbishments including surgeries, laboratories, shop fitting and staff accommodation. This team also has extensive experience in property maintenance as well as electrical installations, plumbing work and grounds maintenance.

In November 2016 Andrew started ARB Commercial Enterprises Limited and transferred the team over to focus on providing services to new clients as well as maintaining services for veterinary practices and medical facilities.

• Building garage block, including offices and living accommodation above garages in Cambridgeshire

• Conversion of staff flat to extend veterinary surgery in Essex
• Complete refurbishment of surgery in Isle of Dogs
• Re-fit of reception and client facing areas
• Block paved driveways in Cambridgeshire and Essex
• Emergency lighting installation and electrical remedial works across client property portfolio
• Electric car charging point installed, including specialised Tesla chargers
